Overview
CredSide ("we," "us," "our") operates credside.org (marketing website) and credside.app (application). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services during the controlled beta.
Information We Collect
- Waitlist information: Email address, and optionally first name, phone number, and a short preference about what type of help you are seeking, when you join early access at credside.org. Phone is optional and is not used for SMS from the marketing form while SMS is inactive.
- Account information: Email address, name, and profile details when you register at credside.app (invited beta users).
- Credit report data: Information you upload for processing in the beta — account details, inquiries, and related fields contained in approved report exports.
- Usage data: Device type, browser, IP address, and interaction logs to operate the service and prevent abuse.
- Website analytics: Anonymous page views on credside.org via standard analytics tools (if enabled).
How We Use Your Information
- Provide the controlled-beta credit-report review experience you request
- Organize report data and highlight possible reporting inconsistencies for your review
- Help you prepare dispute letters you review and approve
- Notify waitlist members about beta access and product updates (when you consent)
- Respond to support and deletion requests
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your credit data to third parties
- We do not automatically submit disputes without your approval
- We do not guarantee score increases or item removals
- We do not enroll waitlist users into SMS unless SMS is separately approved and you provide compliant consent
Data Storage & Security
Application data is stored in encrypted databases. Access is restricted to your authenticated account. Data in transit uses HTTPS/TLS.
Waitlist Data
If you join early access, we store your email, optional first name, optional phone, optional preference, consent flags, and signup source to contact you about access. We do not enroll you in SMS from this form while SMS is inactive. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@credside.org. We do not sell waitlist data to third parties. Joining does not create a paid subscription.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@credside.org. You control which reports you upload and which items you choose to address.
Cookies
Our marketing site may use essential cookies for functionality. The application at credside.app uses session cookies for authentication.
Third-Party Services
We use infrastructure providers (for example, hosting and database services) to operate CredSide. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual data protection terms.
Children
CredSide is not intended for users under 18 years of age.
